Welcome to Asheville’s new green neighborhood.


Our thirty-eight acre community off Pinners Cove Road is a neighborhood of ten homes and home sites, all with excellent short-range and near-ridge views as well as good solar potential. Some house sites have longer views and others have a bold creek meandering through them.  All have great wooded landscape and privacy between homes. If a 2.5 acre lot is not enough space, their is also fifteen acres of common area with hiking trails and space for a community garden.

We currently have a 3+ bedroom, 3.5 bath home for sale we are calling ‘The Roost’.  The Roost is currently under construction and will be completed some time this summer.  It’s roughly 2,300 square feet and features our trademark energy package with passive solar design, a geothermal heat pump, and our super insulated building envelope.  Net Zero energy is an option with this home as well.

There are two lots left in this ten home community. All construction plans will be approved by the developer/builder/and homeowners association to ensure that each house fits the landscape and that the community feels continuous. Blue Ridge Energy Systems, with over thirty years experience in residential green building, will custom design and build each home in the community.
